Simple Story, Sophisticated Psychology

Here's the deal. My older brother JP was getting hitched. We all got together, picked up JP, and headed to the local pub for our first round. The pub was packed, people everywhere. My oldest brother Jeff buys these guys a round of drinks in exchange for their table located in the center of the pub. There we all are, and that's when the "usual" bachelor party got blown away. Using our game we had a freaking blast, no need for the strippers, hookers, or porn.

The bachelor party system was used for J.P.'s party in Boston, Mass. That was about 12 years ago and everyone still talks about it. The party was just so much fun, and the stories are legendary. The best man/my older brother was always praised for the idea. Which has been stewing in my head since.

Fast forward 12 years.

Jeff was at this marketing convention in Vegas for some training, meeting with a few brilliant marketing professionals that he occasionally hangs with. These guys are all millionaires and they study sales, psychology, persuasion and anything else they need to keep their edge.

It's a Tuesday night and they are all having dinner trading stories. Jeff brings up the story about J.P.'s bachelor party, and how this crazy idea of his played out. He gloated about what a blast it was. And boy you could see the light bulbs going on over these guys heads. "What an idea", and the brainstorming began, and the bachelor party game was born.
